Hole in Stillen Gen 3

Alright guys, title says it all. There's a hole in one tube of my stillen gen 3 intake. Before you berate me on my lack of skills, a previous owner installed the intake, apparently rather sloppily. I noticed that the tube was rubbing on a bracket (circled in picture) and put a little strip of rubber between the tube and bracket. I guess the rubber slipped through the space and left them to continue rubbing until this hole appeared. Any suggestions on this? I'd rather not have to buy a new intake since this seems like it should be a rather easy fix. I'll add some real pictures of it when it's light out tomorrow. Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated. (The hole is on the under side of the tube)

Thankfully, what I'm positive I saw as a hole last night was only this. But you can see where that support bracket is digging deep into the tube.

A buddy of mine slid a coupler all the way up to cushion his from rattling against something, that would def seal a hole too but may wear through it as well?

Is that a Z engine compartment?
I like the strut brace, from what I've read only the Zs can use a 3-point brace.
