Check engine light after Takeda install

I was excited to finally install the Takeda CAI on 2012 G37 Sedan. I followed all the instructions as listed. When I started the car, boom, check engine light is on.

Any suggestions? This is my only engine mod so far. I tried to reset the ECU but I have not been successful yet.

TIA

Did you turn the car on to accessory mode at any time during the install with the maf sensors unplugged?

Maybe to listen to the radio as your installing it?

make sure your maf sensors are securly in and the clips are connected. If that doesnt work then I would try to reset the ECU

From: Framingham Ma,
Well if the mafs are plugged in then the only thing I can think of is a vacuum leak and its causing a lean CEL. again with out the code its hard. Go to autozone and get the code read for free

Same happened had to turn the vehicle to "ON" not run. So I could turn the tires getting the fender wells popped out to access the screws. It noticed the sensors were disconnected. Within that time period. You're fine no worries unless your car is bogging or has a spazzing idle after install there's something wrong.
