The free flowing Y-pipe should produce a deeper tone and more efficient exhaust, but for whatever reason adding the new Y has a minimal effect on both
It's not the best money spent on these cars from all I've read
They seem relatively inexpensive and I would imagine nearly everything is notch better then oem at this point. While getting HFC replaced, may get this out of the way.
