Axle Back Mufflers.

Did I search? yes. Did I find? Yes.

I found too much and much of it is obsolete.


I don't frankly know the difference between a 2005 or 2007 or 9 or 11 coupe and my 2013.

So how about a little help?
I am looking for an axle back exhaust muffler(s).
What I want....just like everybody else that has a 4 or a 6.... I want a V8 sound. What is that? LOW. The Lower (in Frequency) the better, of course.
"Slight" Drone could be tolerated. But none would of course be better.
Needs to be a good bit louder than stock. Very noticeable.


And, this is important, the tips should stick out a couple of inches from the body.

And the most important of all.....the exhaust must be available.

I bow to the collective wisdom of the board.

 

Very happy with my Tanabe Medallion axle back. Not sure if it's offered for 2013 G's (and not sure which model/package you have), but I would think you can find one for most years/models.

Great value for the price, and the sound is slightly deeper and louder than stock, but with a smooth increase during rev without any noticeable drone after ~3 months since install.

How about the tips?
The OEM tips really bug me. I am not trying to keep the dual exhaust a secret. Au Contraire.......
