Which air filter brands are of good quality yet cheap?

Hey all

I'm looking for air filters for my car, 2011 g37x. Looking to buy air filters from eBay. But there are tons of stuff ranging from $5-200USD. Please advise a good quality cheap airfilters. Cause TBH I don't think I wanna spend too much on airfilters like K&N that offer nothing more then a regular filter

Thanks

Although I havent had a need to change air filters yet I have read great reviews of AFE. Not cheap so you could always stick to OEM.

K&N has one feature that "regular" filters don't have, and that is that it is washable and reuseable. It will last the life of the car. Hence the higher sticker price.

If you don't want to go that route, then use a reputable brand. I prefer Wix. I wouldn't use a no-name filter.

Mann products are OEM in BMWs which would be a safe choice as well.

I bought a pair of Purolators (A35824) at Advaned Auto Parts. They fit perfectly and were $36 for the pair rather than the $80 my dealer wanted for essentially the same filters. I have used these (Purolator) filters on other cars and their performance is top notch.

If you have Napa autoparts nearby their Napa premium gold filters are made by wix filters.

OEMs models are available on Amazon for $36 a pair:
Amazon.com: Infiniti 16546-JK20A, Air Filter: Automotive Amazon.com: Infiniti 16546-JK20A, Air Filter: Automotive

Is this expensive? Seems reasonable.

Comparable to one of the online Infiniti specific retailers I always see recommended: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Air-...6546jk20a-.htm

Recall that there is a 20% coupon floating around now as well that you can use at the dealer through January.
