How strong is the exhuast smell with Test pipes? Is it terrible or what?

So I am considering getting a set of test pipes since they are much cheaper than a HFC and my county has no emissions laws. I am wondering though how bad the smell from not having a cat would be. I just sold my 1979 corvette which had a 383 stroker motor and straight side pipes with no cats. The smell was down right obnoxious clothes and hair would smell so bad for the rest of the day after a drive. I am guessing it wouldn't be anywhere near as extreme on my g37 but figured id ask and see what you guys who have them say about it..

I've had test pipes for over 40,000 miles (roughly 4 years) and don't smell anything at all unless you're standing directly behind the car. Maybe a little smell at stop lights with windows all the way down but nothing to make your hair and clothes smell.

Don't really get any smell with my GTM resonated test pipes! If you stand behind and exhaust you 're gonna get a smell IMO.

I don't think you would notice it unless you roll down the window
