Z1 headers and z1 hfc
Z1 headers and z1 hfc
Currently on my 09 g37x coupe 7speed auto i have ark grip cat back and injen dual cold air intake.
I was thinking about getting the z1 headers and z1 hfc for my car. It will run around $1,300
From what ive read, our cars have around 260-270 stock whp. Looking to put out around 320-330whp and around 265-275tq
I was also thinking the uprev tune if i can find a place near me who does it.

I have stillen intakes, motordyne manifold, and a full fast intentions exhaust with high flow cats. I've got the up rev tune to run it all, the first time I dynoed on that setup, I pulled 319 whp. My tuner recalibrated his Dyno this past week and I went in to do another pull, no additional modifications. The new number is 283. However, at that same dyno session, a supercharged 370z pulled 340.
The point is, don't hang your hat on a particular number, just do the mods you want, and enjoy the process. If you really want horsepower, save up and go forced induction.
Definitely don't worry about the actual numbers. What you should pay attention to are the numbers before and after the mods/tune on the same dyno. That will tell you what you gained from everything.
i would do some more research about the z1 headers from i was readin up on last year about them they were not putting out the power people thought they were..
if you want to make some good power go long tube headers..
