Dyno numbers don't mean sh*t

Guess how much power and torque my car put down the other week while I was tuning it? And guess what, this is an AWD Mustang Dyno aka The Heart Breaker.

Here's the funny bit, I'm running a 6266 turbo that manages to hit 700+ whp on cars at 30 psi and racing fuel.

I was tuning it at 15 psi and using pump gas

Bottom line: don't worship dyno numbers like they came out of the bible. A dyno is a tuning tool, not a measurement tool.

I wish I could find a decent tuner with a dyno in my area, that has experience with the G's. Seems they only do Subaru, VW's, and Porsche around here. I've spoken with 4 shops that "tune" cars but not one of them have a damn dyno. How do you really tune a car without that tool?

Not showing off at all. My car's realistically making under 400whp at the moment. I just want people to know that dyno's can be easily tampered with/mis-calibrated to show BS figures, just like it did on my car.

Alkatraz, this is where the real power is at haha

Oh yeah! I forgot that you're running an RB30 block. I see RB26's here daily and forget about the 3lt!

so what's wrong with the car? I'm sure you didn't go this route to make less power than what a stock g37 on boost can make.

Something seems off. 15 psi to be making less than 400hp according to what it feels like to him. I'm well aware of what the RB can do but this doesn't look like it.
