Finally I found headers for the Sedan
Hey folks,,
So I finally found A set of headers for the sedan models.
There is two companies that make it, Megan Racing & TopSpeed Pro-1
So what is your advice on which one is better and has more HP & TQ and, if there is another company please tell.
Thanks,,

If you found it.... I think you will know better than that 79 members wo saw but did not reply to this post. Or at least put up a link? And IMO headers are too much $$$ and more money to install it to gain little...
I viewed it twice. I still don't know the answer to your question. Would you like me to make something up and respond just to make you feel better? I'll be glad to. Which would you prefer that I suggest and what amount if HP do you want me to tell you it will give?
I wouldn't buy either.

I wouldn't buy either.
Well, actually I'm a little bit afraid that it'll not fit the sedan.
Before A while I was this close to buy the Stillen headers bit it was for coupes only so I emailed them and they said it'll not fits due to different design !!!
Apparently will hit the steering column unless you modified it.
And know IDK if these fits or not emailed them but no response so far
I also called and they didn't pick up

Use the search funtion and you will find many threads the pretty much say don't bother. They are both a waste of time and money. Also, the quality of the brands you mention are questionable. Headers experience extreme heat, so I would say do not waste your time or money on OK/Average products with OK/Average welds. They only add a couple HP at the most when combined with other bolt ons. Also, it is a very expensive mod for the amount of HP you add.
Headers: $550
Install from Nissan/Infiniti Dealer: $800
Install from Indep. Shop: $400-500
If Your happy paying $1,000 - $1,300 for headers for +3-5 hp, then go for it. I will tell you I did it and was not happy with the result. I even did F.I. Longtube headers, which dyno results proved superior to shorty headers. They power was nice from them(because of the longtube design over shorty) but the amount of rasp that it added was terrible. Also, the headers I bought were $1300 just for the headers, and the quotes above were what it was for installation.
I did a ton of **** to my car, and I mean a ton. Headers would never be on my list to add to the G or Z ever again. I'd say don't even bother, but thats just me. It's your money so you decide. I would say that if 98/100 people said don't bother. I wouldn't...

^ Exactly. VQ37 OEM headers are well designed already. There are pics of them side by side with Stillen's and the difference is just aesthetic.
In the Middle East, Y61 Patrols/Land Cruisers and other V8's will tell you to go headers because their OEM headers are too restrictive and due to their larger displacements. Their gains are in the tens of hp's especially when mated to aftermarket cams. Not the case with our engines though.

If you want headers for your sedan, get them made by a fabrication shop...I have a very good buddy that works for american racing headers (same company that makes headers for the dodge viper ACR) and when you get your headers made at a shop like this, sure it will cost alot of money BUT it will last much longer, it will be designed to custom fit your car, and will most likely be made of a a higher grade of Stainless Steel.
Problem is that these companies claim that their headers are stainless steel but they forget to mention the type of filler/flanges, in most cases they use a thin wall tube for the headers, and a low grade of stainless steel that is cheaper because it contains more iron (which is what rusts) than higher grades of stainless steel and the flanges are made of MILD STEEL which will rust eventually. Another important thing to keep in mind is that the welds are not proper high quality welds because it is machine made so sometimes the bond is not quite right...higher quality fabrications are made with thicker wall tubes for the runners, stainless flanges, and a high grade of stainless steel, and its all welded together by a tig welder.
Either do it right or dont do it at all.
