Need your opinion on intake & HFC

Hey MyG37 members,,

I have a G37 sedan with ARK Grip exhaust combined with Berk HFC, R2C intake.

OK, now in the coming couple of days I'm gonna order the M370 intake manifold and I decided that I must change the HFC hence Berk it's all about the rasp and loudness, I was thinking of the ART pipes then I saw the ARK RSPEC HFC so now I'm really confused because the ARK HFC for AUTO transmission is not yet released and I contacted them they said it's gonna take a while and I really can't wait < Berk it's really getting loud and annoying

So should I take the ART pipes and is it really quieter then Berk and have less rasp hopefully.

Another thing I was thinking also about changing the intake to Stillen Gen 3, is it worth it or should I keep my R2C and be thankful.

Thanks Guys,,

Keep the r2c and get a set of Fast intentions HFC or RHFC. I'm sure you won't get any rasp.

I agree with Rad_Slinger. I órdered RHFC from Fast Intentions. I have the stillen Gen3 but its hard to notice the difference in sound possibly because of where the air filters are.

Really happy with FI Cats, no check engine light and no rasp what so ever

If you are gonna get a tune then I think it would be worth it to get the Stillen Gen 3. I am in the same boat right now. Got R2C intake and MD exhaust. About to do the Stillen intake, MD art pipes, MD manifold, MD sways and a tune If Motordyne makes a part then I would go with them for sure. Quality parts and awesome customer service. B2Auto has some great prices on MD parts, that's the main vendor I deal with.

Motordyne all the way if you're looking for quality and performance. For the most hp/tq gains intake wise Gen3>R2C that is if you want to go through all the trouble to gain a few hp/tq. A tune is a must, if you want to keep the VQ37HR happy with those particular mods.

Btw a buddy of mine has the same setup as you OP but with the FI RHFC (minus M370). The Ark exhaust dB lowered a lot during cruising and at WOT it's "loud" but not like oh chit loud
