Lovin' it Bill! Haven't heard from you how you liked the pairing w/ the HFCs??
Thanks, Lance... Sound is subjective. There is a clip of the exhaust floating around YouTube somewhere. I don't like to post up sound clips 1) because I don't think they're very definite/accurate/precise, and 2) bluntly, people like to pick apart something just for the sake of criticizing it. "My exhaust system cost 1/10th of that and it sounds better." Awesome, but I don't really care to hear those sort of comments.
To answer your question, I really like the sound. It is tame. It is not loud and it is not obnoxious. I do not like loud exhaust set-ups. I enjoy the fact that you can tell my set-up is not stock, but it is not over-the-top. I opted to swap out my resonated test pipes for high-flow catalytic converters because I do not like rasp. I have heard very few set-ups on any VQ that are free from even the slightest bit of rasp, despite "rasp-free" claims. On top of that, rasp is inevitable when you go with a test pipe set-up (resonated or not). So, I am very happy with the decision to forego the test pipes for HFCs. I also decided to go with a silent y-pipe from Amuse. It has a built-in resonator.
I posted a link to a write-up on the exhaust in another thread. Here.
