Hi guys, I'm having a shop install cat for me, ppl said they can do it but if I want to keep the oem cat they will charge $60 a piece means $120 for both sides for a tag that proofs the cat is from my car. They said its illegal in California to own a used cat without a tag otherwise they will have to dispose the used cat to avoid charge. It sounds bs to me, has anyone else in Cali heard of it??
