it's your choice personally. Most intakes are for sounds because it doesn't give any kind of performance.

I think there was a thread a while back about a member reviewing a lot of intakes.

Like dashkid said, it's about your feelings towards name brands. I have takeda and I love it , installation was 7/10 you can find a great deal on them just search the forums

I have an 08 and am using R2C. I've had it on for about 3,000 miles and I love it. Got a great deal from a vendor here. Sounds awesome.

people ask best this or best that? what are you looking for out of an intake? rc2 are short ram air not cold air intakes. stillen gen3 or takeda is a great way to go for actual power.

There are several threads on this subject. Most members prefer the Stillen gen3 and it does dyno as the highest performance option. The Takeda makes 90% of the added power at 50% of the price, but there's something odd about upgrading a dual intake into a single one as the Takeda does, which is why I'll pony up the extra $$$ for the Stillen. Other members will tell you to forget the CAI, and any other mods, and put that money toward FI, as while it is expensive, it is the only way to really unlock the potential in the car, and it is the cheapest per hp mod increase.

Plus remember that the dyno hp and torque increases do not reflect the ram effect you achieve when traveling down the road with the Stillen or Takeda.

Based on dyno number most have posted. Your top two choices are the

-Stillen Gen 3
-R2C intakes.

either one of those will get you good gains.
