No gaskets

I just recently bought used megan racing exhaust and the gaskets were all rusted and brittle, so the shop decided not to use them. they just installed it without gaskets. will there be any problems without the gaskets? I assumed they would have their own set of gaskets they can sell and use but I guess not.

You should just said "hold on, I'll brb" went to autozone or some autoparts store and picked up gaskets for like $3.00 a piece.

I would say it will probably leak when it heats up. Could always go back and put gaskets in. Wouldn't be a big deal since the exhaust is already hung.

It sounds like crap and can cause poor performance . May even throw a SES light.

Take the bad gaskets to an auto parts store and buy some more just like them. Put them on. Don't just not use a gasket where one is supposed to be used.

If it doesn't leak it'll be ok. But it's better to replace exhaust gaskets when changing exhaust components if they have been in use for a while.
