So the title is a little misleading. I know a lot of you are waiting for shockwave soundclips, but i want to share another awesome product from tony at motordyne: the xyz pipe. This is a comparo with the non resonated straight pipe section vs. the resonated section for the y pipe.

Here are the mods:
R2c intake
Berk hfc
Stock exhaust manifolds are back on
Amuse exhaust

Straight pipe xyz vs. resonated xyz

With the straight pipe section, you can hear a noticeable rasp and strong deceleration hiss. The resonated section really cleans it up a ton and the car sounds amazing in person

Its crazy how much better the resonator works its awesome. Honestly, the past 3 months ive heard nothing but hissing and rasp between the long tube headers and then a regular y pipe on. This cleaned all of it up. I can fly through a tunnel now and just hear the exhaust and engine scream. Nothing else!

PS: your drive by's = too much wind & tire noise very little exhaust note

 

Im gonna get a full video done with drive bys on a highway and inside here. Ill be sure to add it. That microphone picked up everything including a little driveshaft whine at the very end you can hear it hum when i decelerate in 2nd gear

 

So many people are missing out by not getting the XYZ with resonator, it's a fairly cheap upgrade that gives power and torque, but also just gets rid of the crap we get with headers/HFC's/test pipes.
