R2C Intakes Install question
This question is for all the guys that either have the intakes installed or have installed them at some point.
So i finally got my r2c's from ImportPartsPro. I had a little bit of a wait from the factory but r2c was very professional and responded to emails very quickly. Intake came in with next day delivery, great price, great service, great people. It was pleasure to deal with those guys!!
Back to my question. I installed the right side (drivers) in under 20 mins without any issues and the fitment was perfect. The problem i had was on the left Passenger side intake. The r2c requires you to remove the intake and the the stock loop around hose. They supply a straight hose that you attach to the engine and to the intake itself. The problem i keep having is when the intake is installed that hose has to make a 90 degree turn so it ends up bending and stays almost closed. Is this terribly bad for my engine and have you guys found any workarounds for this issue?

What he said.
Back when I had one.
I went to an Autozone, and found they had breather hoses in the back.
Pick one with the right bend.
I got one that was too long on the straight side, which helped, as I could cut it down perfectly.
