Where are you located? I'll do it for $100 Honestly, I don't see how people install it without removing the bumper and scratching the sh*t out of the tubes. You still have to "drop" the bumper, not completely remove it. Either way, bumper needs to be out of the way.

Alright, after reading all of your responses about the install of 3G CAI I am inspired to attempt the install myself. I am lazy and quick to pay someone to do my installs but I am a bit strapped considering I am doing all of my mods within a short window rather than spacing them out so it would help significantly for me to save in the areas where I don't necessarily need to spend. With that said, where can I go to see pics of the install and what tools will I need for the front bumper? And before someone calls me an idiot for asking, know that I am fully aware that I am. I don't think I am mechanically challenged but I do get nervous and freak out about little ****. Especially when it comes to my G. Any helpful words of encouragement will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Get a Dremel MultiMax:

Use the wood cutting attachement for the opening, cuts like butter, and cleanly.

Basic 1/4" drive sockets, and wrenches.

Buy the 2 nylon bumper retainers from the dealer prior to starting, you might break a tab from one.

TSG37......Some people need to NOT work on their cars. You sound like one of them. Pay the $125.00, be happy and don't look back. That really is not a bad price.

Its not hard to install at all. It will just take you a while if you have the proper tools. The only annoying part is griding out the intake holes.
But the intake is awesome

Yah, thats exactly the problem. I dont have the right tools and would end up having to do with what i currently have which is not much. Probably damage something or make it look like ****. The way i see it if you have money to buy this car, well make it look good or save the trouble and buy a honda. Of course there are people that can do it a great job themselves, im not one of them . To those that can

...atleast you admitted it to not only us, but to yourself. The bright side is, it got installed, and installed properly w/out anything getting messed up in the process.

This is an easy install it just sounds hard. My friend helped me out who is real good with cars and takes his time, he even made sure you could see the stillen logos. The only problem I had was that the shield for the filters didn't fit with the screws we got. And had to cut a piece on that part where you screw the filters on. Also we just used a knife to cut the plastic to make the holes bigger, there are no issues or rattle.
