pros:
performs better than stock
looks cooler
gen 3 has had some good gains for some ppl
cons:
- hydrolocking
- difficult in fitment/installing.
What kind of issues can I run into with upgrading to it?
hydrolocking
air sensors installing
modifiying the front of the duct to accomodate filters.
What kind of problems can arise from getting it?
hydrolocking!
What about my warrenty? Will it void it?
it wont void the warranty unless the fault your car has is directly linked to it.

I was int he same dilemma when i was looking into the r2cs and the gen 3s. the only reason why i went with the r2cs is because i ddi not want to worry about hydrolocking (i live in NE).

anybody else wants to add to above?
Very informative thank you!

Lots of people have them and love them. It won't actually improve your car unless you get a tune.
I figured as much, but I thought i'd ask. Thanks for your advice.

There were three reasons that I wanted to get the Stillen Gen3's.

1. Looks fantastic
2. Hopefully a Better sound
3. More Power

From the looks of it, it doesn't seem worth the money to put into it because I know I probably won't get the tune. Also, i live in north Texas and we do get some floods here and there so i'm not sure i want to risk Hydrolocking. Thanks for all your input
