Question STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit Question

For those of you with a STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit, I have a question. My left side tube is very close to rubbing the inside of the fender, so I tried putting some sticky rubber bits on the fender. But the heat (or something) is preventing the rubber from staying in place very long. Does anyone have this problem, is so how is you solve it?

Rubbing the fender? Do you mean the metal where the tubing passes through where the OEM intake boxes were? Go to Home Depot and get some felt lining, that's what I've got and it's worked perfectly for nearly 2 years

No, it's extremely close to the fender, like I can't even get a finger between the tube and the fender. However, I do have rubber in the pass through as well. I'll go to HD and see if I can find the felt stuff your talking about. Thanks.

My tube was knocking against the body where the body rises up to the strut tower. Ended up rigging something - used a short piece of rubber hose and slit it so that it opened up flat, then glued the small piece under the tube so when it knocked against the body, it hit the rubber. Havent had any noise problems since.

Thought about that, what kind of glue did you use? Wouldn't the glue loose it's grip when the engine is hot? I live in PHX, so I have melting issues in the summer.

you could also realign the tubes so that there is no contact. it's super tricky. i've installed 3 so far. 4th one coming soon for another buddy.

avoid all contact with the tubes.
avoid the metal opening withing the bumper cover.
avoid contact to the ac lines.

I had a small squeeze tube of liquid nails (clear) that I used to glue the small piece of rubber to the body under where the tube was hitting. Did it several months ago so will see how it holds up during the summer, but so far so good.

All very good ideas guys, thanks. I think I like the window caulking best, so I'm gonna give that a try.

@sena, the tube doesn't actually touch unless I have it in reverse, then I hear a slight rattle. So, I'd rather put something than risk any damage.
