If I remember correctly, it was making less power than stock. Blame heat soak for that..... Thats why their popularity decreased dramatically.

Yup , LOL just looking at some different things, I just bought Stillen Gen 3's, IS that good enough, ,, Just weighing options. I could do my wifes exhaust over I would do it the same way, Cost my $575 for the whole thing with Ebay-tanabes,DOMO

Don't do something if you can't do it right. Save your money for a few more weeks and buy a proper one. I looked at this intake and did some searching around reading reviews, and decided to wait until the following pay day and bought the Stillen Gen 3. I am very happy with the Gen 3 and don't have to live with the feeling I did it the cheap way. I know some things you can get the same results from cheaper materiels, but I don't think so in this case.
On a side note it's an "IOSPerformance Intake" with Fujita part numbers and pictures. Is that really the kind of seller you want to deal with?

yea I guess you are right. I just bought the Gen 3's and HFC's for my car( Coupe) I am lookng for the wifey's sedan, Just trying to stay under $300 for intakes for her car. I REALLY want the R2C's again for her but the are more than $300 :/
