Good Price for Injen intake?

My local vendor made me an offer of $495 for brand new Injen Cold Air tubes... good deal? I saw someone here selling them used for much less...but I understand that film can form, wear and tear, I'll need new filters, etc.

Help please gurus!

do you mean the long tube intakes that go into the wheel well? if that includes filters and all the hardware i think that a pretty decent price. But if your talking about the short ram, thats WAY too high

Long tubes to the wheel well

the long tubes that go down into the well. Not the short RAM. I am looking for maximum performance without having to cut...Working my way up to twin turbo. Gotta dream big

you know what i always wondered about the injen filters that go all the way down to the wheel well?
is the cai's performance hindered by the AT bumper because of the faux vents?

Couldn't you always "open" the vents? Would that make a difference, or only hurt things by increasing the odds of water getting on the filters?

don't worrie about the water unless you are submerged. the intakes for my SC are down their and have had not issues even in very and i mean very heacvy rain. The vents are easy to remove then just cut out the mesh with a dremill. done and done. looks good and adds function
