Exhaust Rattle

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I've got the infamous muffler rattle too. Here is a clip...

YouTube - - G37S rattle

I took my car into the dealership yesterday and was told that since I had an aftermarket exhaust (Invidia Gemini), they wouldn't replace anything.

Can anyone confirm whether it sounds like the TSB Muffler Rattle, and if so, should it be void because of my catback exhaust? I appreciate the help. I'd hate for the dealership to pull a fast one on me.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

The dealership is correct on this one. The TSB only applies for the factory oem unit.

Almost sounds like you tried to pull a fast one on the dealership.

Lol, I agree. The dealership is right on this one. Sounds like you need to adjust your exhaust if its rattling.

it might be that rubber/metal thingy that ur mufflers are hanging on.. make sure the screws are tight. cuz my brother's 350z was missing a screw so the rubber thing was rattling against the car.

Yeah, you don't want to hydro lock the muffler. Not good!
