R2C CAI installation question

Hey guys,

I am putting everything together for the install and I just found that I am missing the push on rubber seal.

Is it important that I need it to be there for the install or can i skip it for now?

How crucial is that piece? the instruction said the size is about 4 inch or so?

Did you guys had that or was it missing from the box too?

I don't remember installing a "push on rubber seal".

All I remember getting was the piping, the heat sheild with rubber on top, the filters and the hardware with couplers.

was your Passenger side heat shield a full coverage? Because in the front end, bottom right there is an opening on mine.

There is a slight cut out for the radiator hose... otherwise it would be crushed by the heat shield.. it is normal. Those intakes are a very simple install.

Should be easy man... those directions are pretty good too...

Just becareful with the MAF sensors.. I didn't disconnect mine, just unscrewed and wrapped them in a towel to keep them safe... The hardest part is probably trying to bend the hose that connects to the intake piping on the passengers side (unless R2C fixed the piping and made it looker).. You'll understand when you get up to that point, trust me its a piece of cake install. GL
