A seller called cooper813store on ebay is selling what looks like a Tanabe Medalion Touring axelback for around $300 incl. shipping.

Has anyone bought it or looked into it?

 

you get what you pay for. I would never EVER buy anything for the G off eBay (except maybe a license plate frame lol)

 

If it doesn't specifically say it's made by Tanabe, if it costs way less than any other seller selling a Tanabe, if the seller isn't known to be reputable, then yes, it's a knockoff.

 

There are legit vendors that sell legit parts on eBay for our cars. Riverside Infiniti comes to mind first. Kuruma Motoring also is legit, I've bought form them a number of times. And they sell authentic Tanabe Medallion, just not that cheap.

Riverside Infiniti is definitely a good vendor. I guess I should have said I never go to eBay looking for parts, if I know what I need I look at the people I know are legit.

 

It's the Top Speed exhaust system. They make them for the G35, 350z, and now they have them for the G37 and 370z. Their fitment and welds are chit.

Btw search shows Tanabe has slight drone. Does fujitsubo muffler have the same?

 

Wait until tanabe releases their Mid pipe... and get the full set up with them. It'll be siiiick!
