Hi. I wanted to see if the experts can tell me the difference between these two types of exhaust. And also, if you guys would suggest another type. I would like to have deep clean sound, thats not raspy or too loud. I'm getting eibach pro installed, and now wanted a different exhaust.

PS. I have a 08G37S automatic, this might sound silly but why does the exhaust sound better in Manual or DS vs Drive mode, if it has the same engine/transmission?

 

im, pretty sure that they are both, Y-pipe back systems, The Ti-C has a spoon set-up which is the mufflers angled out-words, and the SE is horizontal mufflers, meaning you'll see just the tips. IMO, i like the Ti-C becuase of the way the mufflers sit, but thats just prefrence, And as for the exhaust sound, In DS mode, the car holds the gears longer/at a higher rpm, so the exhaust will sound louder, same idea in manual/tiptronic mode, because you control when the car shifts to the next gear. I have an AT also and i always drive it Tiptronic.
