Stillen exhaust for sedan

I listened to the clips on youtube. I think this is the best sounding exhaust for the sedan. Tanabe is a close second, but I like the look of the smaller Stillen mufflers. The Tanabe mufflers look silly because they are huge and the tips are too big.

Anyway, why don't more sedan owerns like the Stillen exhaust? Have you heard it? It really brings out the VQ sound IMO. What's so bad about it? What am I missing here?

I think i read somewhere that Stillen got terrible drone while driving, but did you look at Invidia Gemini exhaust? It's very nice, no drone or rasp at all, i got it and i'm in love with it, it's really quite exhaust.

Stillen exhaust turn yellow after a while, and it drones, and you can get better stuff instead, Try Invidia or FI, you can't go wrong either ways, but i'd vote Invidia since i own it and and i really love it, you can get SS tips or Ti-tips, and i gained 13rwhp from it.

I have the Stillen. A lot of people talk crap about Stillen, but mine fits and performs perfectly. Sounds great, no rasp and drone is greatly reduced after the exhaust break in period. It's lighter than stock, retains the stock vibration weight things and the mufflers and tips look great. I've had mine for well over a year and still love it.

I have the Stillen Cat-Back with FI HFC's! And the drone is not wildly annoying! I mean it's a nice rumble. And with the OEM Cats it's a nice mellow low tone! Unless u liten to your car while driving without the radio on. Stillen is fine, and I drive a Supercharged 5.0 Stang everyday! Now talk about drone right there! Comapred to the G, It's so liveable.

And for the Stillen Exhaust turning yellow? Never seen evidence anywhere about this yellowing. I had my Exhaust over a Yr, and it's looks like brand new! Granted I polish and wipe it down. but no yellowing anywhere! and it fits perfect in all the OEM Hangers!

The Stillen exhaust is a great purchase for the Sedan if you want the signature VQ sound with only mildly increased db. There is no drone whatsoever that I have noticed, and I drive on the beltline everyday at 70 to 80 mph. I had PERFECT fitment with my Stillen exhaust as well. The muffler shopt that put it on said it was one of the best fitting, highest quality exhaust systems they had installed. FLAWLESS fitment. I have a video on youtube, but it seems as if you have already watched it ;-)

Now that's just silly. It bolts on PERFECTLY as long as you don't have a couple of monkeys trying to install it for you. It's from people like you that voice an opinion without actually having the product that sometimes gives people a bad rap. I have NO IDEA about other Stillen products, but the exhaust for the G37 Sedan is top notch quality with perfect fitment.

FWIW, I helped a friend install a full Stillen exhaust on his 370Z and everything went on very smoothly. It helps to have a lift, time, and tools to do it right, but I can't fault Stillen for making a bad product. It sounds pretty sweet too, a little loud for my taste, but a nice setup.
