i dont know about other places but in ny i was told they only do emissions test on older cars...our cars are fine..they have no need to check emissions

Yes, it is illegal to remove a wroking catalytic converter. The only way they can be legally removed by a mechanic is if they are malfunctioning in order to replace it.

These will be sold with the disclaimer "sold for off road use only". You take your chances driving with them on a street car. However as mentioned, the only time that is an issue is in places that require state emissions inspection and testing.

I had a pretty long talk with Tony about all the exhaust options and he informed me that these would be coming out. He told me that estimated hp would be 15-25 and cost around $1000-1300.
