How do I remove the air filter box?

Hi guys, I try to replace the fog light bulb, I read the thread on G35driver that need to remove the air filter box in order to reach the light bulb socket, and there is only one bolt holding the air filter box. Here is a question, after I took out the bolt, do I have to loosen the whole intake pipe to remove the box? or I could just lift the box up?<!-- google_ad_section_end --> I tried to pull up the box but seems like I have to remove the whole thing, anyone have some experience to share plz? thanks in advance!

Fog bulb will be a pain in the ***, your better off leaving it as is since its a tight space.

If that doesn't work, You can try to remove the bumper and take the whole headlight just to replace the bulb.

ahh....really don't wanna take off bumper....... and I removed the tire well when changing the headlight bulb, don't think there is any room to go in any further reach the fog light, or maybe it's because I didn't really remove the well completely, anyway, does anyone know if I need to remove the whole intake assembly or just part of it to get to the bulb?

From what I saw in a DIY (I think the Injen install), you get to the fogs easily through the wheel well.

Just take off the wheel and go through the wheel well. Thats probably the easiest way. Thats also how i did my 5000k hid bulbs. I've changed the fogs out through the top taking out the airboxes but it is a major pain in the **** and if you have above average sized hands there is no chance. My hands look like they were in a food processor after i was done.

I changed my HID headlight bulbs through the wheel well, I didn't take off the tires, I was using one hand hlod the well back and the other hand reach in there, it was hella hard. If want to take off the whole well how many clips are there holding it? I went to see the fog light replace thread, but that was a coupe, the light bulb location is little different, right?

Oh, sorry didnt know your a sedan. Still shouldn't be too different. Taking the wheel off and going through there will still probably be overall the easiest. on the coupe and the g35's thats the easiest way to go. as soon as you get the lining off everything is right there infront of you easy to get to. On the coupe there are probably 6-8 clips holding the liner in.
