R2C drop in air filter for OEM intake?

Don't suppose anyone would know if R2C is planning/considering making a drop in replacement air filter for our OEM intakes?

Considering their improved filtration and air flow claims along with the fact that our stock intakes are pretty efficient, I'd imagine there would be a lot of interest from the G37 community if they were available.

That would be awesome! No other aftermarket filters exist that I know of except K&N. I just emailed AMSOIL to see if they will be making their dry nanofiber air filters for the G37....hopefully we'll get a response.

I doubt R2C has any plans to but I'll check.

Stock intakes may be decent however I have little doubt R2C's intakes perform better and definately look and sound better, not to mention easier to maintain. I can't begin to express how much I enjoy opening them up, hearing and feeling the muscle this car has. The sweetness of the sound still surprises me often. They aren't good for gas mileage however, you just won't drive economically any more...

Pretty much what I thought, I wouldn't hold my breath for these.

AMSOIL emailed me back today and this was their response:

"Thank you for allowing AMSOIL INC. to respond to your inquiry. At the current time, AMSOIL INC. is not in the process of developing a filter for this vehicle. However, we will pass this request along to our product development team.

Best Regards,

AMSOIL Technical Services"

Oh well....it's either stock air filters, HKS drop-ins, K&N drop-ins, or an aftermarket intake.

As you mentioned in an earlier post, the OP could also do K&N drop-ins. I would assume they work just as good as the HKS drop-ins. I can't compare directly tho, as the only filters I have had are stock, K&N drop-ins, then Injen CAI.

You're absolutely right...I've added that to my post. Thanks!
