So i just got a call from infiniti and they told me that my 02 sensor was damged due to the car being lowered and you could see where the sensor was hit they said there is scratches all on the exhaust and the warranty will not cover. Sensor cost 495 plus tax!!! no joke, i tried to argue it but seems unlikely they will warranty it. im dropped on s techs and i noticed my sensor hanging under the car last week and when i saw it it was melted i think it was from the garage parking at my work because it has those metal spikes that would pop your tire if you reverse!! anyway im picking up my car and yes im pissed off this happened but im not spending 500 on a damn sensor...

What are some options???

How bad is it to have this light stay on (SES)???
it is the right 02 sensor connected to the right cat.

Do i need this sensor at all???
