Stillen Gen 3 Air Filter Replacement and Sound

So I am reading that replacing the Gen 3 filters will be a b****, has anyone done this yet - if so how?

Also, does anyone have sound/video clips from the interior, before and after install?

Thanks!

The thing with intakes is that unless you're driving hard you'll barely hear them.. I'd record a video from inside when cruising normally but all you'll hear is the exhaust tone

you don't have to replace them with new ones if that's what you're saying... just take them out and clean them..

I was wondering if you have to remove front end pieces again to change/clean the air filter, or can you reach them without taking things apart. Thanks!

Very nice thanks. Do you notice any difference in sound from in the car? Also, does anyone notice water temps going up? Seems like they are blocking a lot of air to the radiator.

I think you just have to drop the bumper (not remove) to clean or change the filter, cause there isn't much hand space if you remove the grille.

The sound difference is normally at a high rpm, i think its anything above 4000RPM then you hear the "growl" or "roar" which just makes you want to turn your music off and listen to that. Water temperature is at the normal/ so is the engine temperature. Definitely a worth the $490.00.
