Some people take dyno numbers way too seriously, especially when they are internet racers

This is why our dyno reads lower than most, and I always prepare customers for this, so their feelings wont be hurt when they learn what their car "really" puts to the ground. The GT-R bone stock does between 387whp and 407whp........rated at 480hp at the crank.

If my memory is correct, Sam's car did 279 without any tuning..and then 285whp with the Cobb AP. He definately has a freak of car, but he also has headers, and every NA mod known to the G37. Bone stock G37's do 250whp +/- on our dyno. As Woady mentioned, every car will make different power. The G37 seems more consistent than the G35/350Z, but there are still variations.

And quite frankly, the only way to know how your numbers compare to a Dyno Jet, is to take it to a Dyno Jet on the same day.
Whoa...didn't Forged post dynos at my350z.com then adjust the numbers to show what they would be like on a dyno jet??? am I confusing Forged with someone else??

if I have then I apologize...

all dynos are good for are calculating your hp gains from mods. people estimate usually 10-12% more hp on a dj vs a dd but theres no set factor. oh and sharif said i was right about something w00t.

That was the old MRC Motorsports. They would post the adjust numbers and the regular numbers right next to each other.

Whenever I do a comparison...here is how I do it. We tune it on our Dyno Dynamics, and then I take it over to the local DynoJet the same day.

Thanks Sharif for giving some info on my car. This is a tuf crowd on this site. I am still going to post dyno numbers. I have actually been driving the car more lately and it seems that the accessport stage 2 reflash has added power. It makes the car feel stronger and it rev's up a lot faster. I can definitely feel a difference in the car and it seems to run smoother. The drawback to all this fun is MPG. If the computer is correct in the car, I have lost about 4 MPG, but if I cared about that I would not have modded it. So lets go to the track and have some fun folks.

Man I dont know.. when someone says that its "seems" like there is more power doesnt seem like its noticable, its just BC you know something was added.

Max, honestly with all your mods, when you installed it did your *** feel the car pull harder, or was minimal?
