Its just odd cause thats alot of power... about 325whp on a dyno jet... I look forward to see the graphs... because there has been alot of people to say the stage 2 map is crap... the proves otherwise... If your numbers are true... sharifs dyno had to have been messed up on my runs...

those numbers sound just about right on. I had headers, hfc's, exhaust, and gen 3 intakes and went from 279 to 291.7 hp, with nothing more then a slightly tweaked stage 2 map on a dyno dynamics machine. If he got 10hp with stage 2 map, and with 1 revision from cobb to the stage 2 map i got about 13, that sounds right on. After a complete tune from cobb, with 4 more revisions I saw 9 more hp for a total gain of 21hp with the AP and all my mods.

people need to realize that these engines VARY from the factory. once in a while there will be factory freaks just like there are factory lemons.

I consider Fast Intentions as "Baller" ..$600 for HFC's and $1500 for a CF exhaust ? yeah thats pretty baller in my book, but of course thats my .02

no offense to anyone on here, including myself but in my book a baller doesn't drive a g37. If I can afford one, then a "baller" would have something much greater!

Everyone does realise that Shariff's Dyno can convert to dyno jet numbers right? He's done it many times on my350z.com...

Our AWD Dyno Dynamics dyno cannot convert to DJ numbers, and cannot be corrected to read higher. The older dyno's had an "x" factor that could be adjusted, but we never used it. We are one of the only Dyno Dynamics/Mustang operators that DOESNT post corrected or artifically higher numbers, so not sure what you are talking about. This is why our dyno reads lower than most, and I always prepare customers for this, so their feelings wont be hurt when they learn what their car "really" puts to the ground. The GT-R bone stock does between 387whp and 407whp........rated at 480hp at the crank.

If my memory is correct, Sam's car did 279 without any tuning..and then 285whp with the Cobb AP. He definately has a freak of car, but he also has headers, and every NA mod known to the G37. Bone stock G37's do 250whp +/- on our dyno. As Woady mentioned, every car will make different power. The G37 seems more consistent than the G35/350Z, but there are still variations.

And quite frankly, the only way to know how your numbers compare to a Dyno Jet, is to take it to a Dyno Jet on the same day.
