Test Pipes & CEL (Check Engine Light)

Ill start off by saying I already tried finding CEL info on the forum but didnt seem to pull it up. Im looking to put test pipes on but I dont want that check engine light turning on. Does anyone here have a definate working solution (preferrably bolt on). I do not want to disable the light entirely and yes I am aware they make aftermarket cats. Let me know what you guys have done so far. Thank you.

there are non-foulers but they only work some of the time. I know Fastintentios is working on a fix that will be 100% but it is not out yet. Should be soon and that is all I can say.

I just bought the new Ichiba test pipes from Andy @ HPauto, they are supposed to fix this problem in there by moving the o2 censors father away, we'll see

I had a pair similar to that from AAM and still gave me A SES light. I replaced it with a HFC and still gave me a SES light. No solution yet and hopefully someone gets a fix for it before my emission testing.

Try clearing the code after the HFC install. This should prevent the light from coming back on with the hfc's

Thanks Dan, I did unplugged the battery for 24hrs. SES was gone but came back 2 weeks after. I'll get the dealer to read the codes and see from there.

Still debating about flashing. AAM re-flashed my freinds 08 Nismo and gain 11whp & 13wtq for $516.
