I won 3 free dynos from ZONC (Z's of Northern California) at the Monterey/Pebble Beach run just this past Saturday.

I'd be willing to use them for this.

Run 1: Stock
Run 2: JWT
Run 3: Stillen Gen 3

hmmm, I wonder how those "splash shields" would prevent hydrolocking from driving through heavy rain?

If you submerge them you will have a problem but if you take your car under that much water you are an idiot anyway. The shields will prevent any splashing or spray even though it ius unlikely that will cause hydrolock anyway.

^^Yeah, I've been scartching my head all day on that one....

Maybe in Cali it's a non issue, but too much cat and dog rain here in the Midwest. I would be concerned.

For a car to suck up water and hydro-lock, don't the intake filters have to be submerged in water? By looking at the design of this intake, the water level has to be up to the grill for that to happen. You probably should not be driving your car and have bigger problems to worry about when your car's in water that high. Correct me if I'm wrong . . .

I can be down AT STILLEN this Friday or Saturday afternoon if you're still looking for the tester. I'm in OC.
