if everyone's complementing the x-pipes so much (including myself) then why doesnt magnaflow produce the best gains? FI and Borla do not use the x-pipe setup yet hit 15-18 hp gains [according to dynos ive seen here]

I think If you did this as an experiment which has a control you would see that the x pipe performs best.In other words everthing else being equal,such as all pipes are of same diameter and bend type,same mufflers and resonators.Then and only then can you answer that correctly.
