while on the matter here what do you think if i switchut the muffler for a aftermarket peice ...any good or great brands ?

 

Fast Intentions is the best exhaust IMO.

Raspy does not sound good, I always hated the way E46's sound with an exhaust.

 

I had test pipes in my 350z and it was simply amazing, highly recommend. Recently took them off as i traded the Z in for the G and driving around with stock exhaust without the test pipes on the Z made me feel like i had a civic's engine (i got used to the raspy tone).

Anyway, i'm going to look into getting test pipes on the G as well.

It comes down to personal preference when it comes to rasp/non-rasp.

 

at low revs it sounds nice and quiet at a higher rev..turns in a beast...

my car on a cold start and a cold rev sounds really raspy..? anyone agree with that one?

why not have that sound always is what i say..
