So what happens if it rains? Is there a chance of water getting in to the intakes?

I brought up a similar concern that people thought using the two front inlets for a ram air setup, people thought the engine would get flooded. What about in other ram air setups ala Trans Am, they seem to be working fine. Ram air on a TA may be located on the hood, but if it's pooring rain, I'm sure considerable water could enter.

The problem occurs when the engine is running, sucking air through the intakes and the filter becomes submerged in water. You might experience what they call hydro-lock. I don't think you really need to worry much unless you're driving your car in rain flooded areas where the level of water might reach your intake's filter.

Maybe Injen will offer something like this... https://www.infinitiaccessories.com/...8308bd6cfdf6b8

im havin trouble distinguishing whether i have some form of the exhaust rattle because i jsut hear like a buzzing noise like a bee buzzing only amplified for a few seconds on a cold start, and not every cold start...ill have a hellish time reproducing it for the dealer since its a cold start ill probably have to leave the car there for a while...

Yeah it seems to not be a rattle but more like an exhaust "buzz" lol...man i wonder if it will worse or if we will even have rights to the new exhaust for it...i figure since not everyone has it we deserve it but i dunno we'll see...

+1. I think the MAF will go first making the car run like crap before the cylinders get flooded.
