stillen intake and catback installed

Just got car back from dealership with berk hfc and stillen catback exhaust system and long and behold I recieved Stillen long tube intakes in the mail today.
Install was very simple.
There are alot of people out there that say the stillen stuff sucks but I would say the combo really works great together with increased HP and TQ the throttle response has improved alot. No stall or hesitation when you mat the gas.
Overall I like the combo alot and it sounds nice.
I will keep you posted on progress after short and long term fuel trims settle after 150 miles.

You did some nice mods on your car. I completely agree STILLEN stuff is very high quality!!!! There one of the only companies whose parts I will put on my car. I'm going to be picking up a set of the BERK HFC'S soon as well.

That's great news. Thanks for sharing this info. I was hesitant to go both HFC's and Catback because when I did that on my old 350Z, I lost low end torque. Ended up putting the stock Cats back on the car. Glad to hear your results were positive and your low end benefited. Incidentally, my setup on the Z was Nismo intake, Kinetix HFCs and Injen catback. Thanks again.

I also got mine done last week and sounds great but little disppointed
by dyno result. Stock 275HP 225TQ after Stillen Long Tube intake & Catback exhaust installed- Dyno result 284HP 234TQ- (9HP & 9TQ)??
Stillen web showed Long Tube 10Hp 9TQ + Catback 9HP & 4TQ =
should have 19HP & 13TQ increased....
I'll take some photo and post it later.

^^bluenet, the stillen intake along with other first out intakes have been shown to either drop or give no increase in HP/TQ for the G37. It might be dropping your numbers. There are a couple intake post about it.

I don't know about Exhuast system but intake sure give little more
HP & TQ. Exhaust only increases your sound... I think.

No it is the other way around. Exhaust increase, intake is sound. Of course you do get exhaust for sound too. I got some HFCs and got 13HP and I think 6TQ when I dynoed. Injen is suppose to be coming out with an intake that will give increases though so we will need to see what happens with that.

Only when you change your Cat or add header with it but
only exhaust system won't increase HP & TQ that much.

Not so sure about that. Well most exhaust have been giving around 10 HP/TQ. The exhaust on the G37 is not that great and IMO it actually sucks (to many muffler issues). I will bet you if you take off your intake and go test you will have the same numbers if not an increase in HP/TQ.
