Thumbs up Exhaust Poll !!! | Fast Intentions Related

The exhausts for the G37 are brand new. We are obviously running our Group Buy for the Fast Intentions Exhaust which just came out for the G37. You can see the group buy here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/group-buys/177018-fast-intentions-g37-exclusive-group-buy-thmotorsports.html

I am taking a Poll of what exhaust you guys are going to go with in the near future. We are trying to gauge out how we can tailor more products to you and have you see the quality of Fast Intentions.

I chose "other". I'm sticking with my stock exhaust because I'm happy with it, at least for now.

I like how the FI looks and sounds, but after repeatedly asking how much it weighs against stock and never getting an answer, any chance they had on swaying my decision to mod my G's exhaust flopped.

I did see that they said a 40 pound weight savings with their cat back exhaust and replacement cats, but there is no way I'm replacing my cats on this car.... Too much of a major PITA on my last car.

I like the exhaust tips of the FI exhaust too, but I'd like a more stock looking tip that is polished SS or a larger tip.

Other than that, I like it a lot. I won't go near STILLEN ever again though.

it weighs in at 51 lbs. They ahve no way of checking stock b/c the stocks in my house. I think its about 20 or so less than stock maybe more.

sorry you feel they ignored your question.

also the tips on all the exhausts are polished SS. Hope you change your mind and do go with FI.

you can even call them directly to talk to them, 818 882 2788

No worries, if it is around a 20 pound weight loss, that sounds really good. If I were to get an after market exhaust, FI is top of the list for me, but for now, I'm putting the money towards the extended warranty.

Cheers.

I like Tanabe because it seems like it will sound most closely to stock and I like the tips. I like FI because it seems to have good gains in power and seems high quality as well. I will be interested in seeing if Tanabe will produce significant enough gains for an axle back system and for the price. When I factor in shipping cost vs local dealer price it is a tough decision.

honestly, I don't think that I ever saw the question. You have been misinformed on the weight differnces. Here ya go:

Stock weighs about 63 lbs.

Our lightest cat back which is the stainless steel weighs about 51 lbs.

Our catalytic converters are about 26 lbs. lighter then the stock cats.(pair)

Our resonated test pipes are about 3 lbs. then our cats.(pair)

Thanks, Tony
