Does the G37's exhaust note sound similar to the 350Z/G35's? Sorry I wouldn't know, I own a Z and I was just curious.

Depends which HKS exhaust, thier exhausts vary. I personally have an HKS exhaust on my IS300, one which doesnt have a unnecessary sized tip.

the HKS tips are 5 inch. They would not look right on our system. In my own opinion they are too big

btw guys this is from my real life experience with the exhaust.. the pictures does not do justice for the exhaust + tips. i thought they were small aswell when i saw them but when i put the exhaust on.. they looks pretty good. nice strong looking tips. i am very satisfied even tho now that FI is offering diff tips options. (i personally like the Greddy Evo style or HKS style TI tips) but nevertheless, this is an extremely well built exhaust and i wont even thinktwice about backing up the quality from FI and THM
