This is pretty interesting. The first link you posted up doesn't seem to be working. I might look into purchasing this myself since I'm not in Canada lol
I have this dash cam had it for while now about 3 years. I have Korean ver. They call inavi which is same company as thinkware. I strongly suggest this if you care about ur G . I have f750 2ch hd they work perfectly day n night.
For some reason they removed that one link but it was for a pre-order page maybe that's why. But I found another link which gives the same information but is also a pre-order screen.

Well I will look into if I can extend this to the US and see what pricing I can get.
I currently have the Blackvue 2CH 650. It does what I need it to do. Not sure if I should upgrade to the F770 or wait for Blackvue next release.
Well when I was researching the thinkware camera vs the Blackvue dash cams. Pros for BlackVue, that it has a better WiFi app that is easier to use, has a better front camera, and looks better.
Pros for Thinkware,
Has a good front camera but not as good as Blackvue but by a tiny bit, the WiFi app is pretty good in terms of being more in depth of what you can control, has an amazing rear camera, and front camera can be bought separately and you opt out for rear anytime later down the road. For parking mode I believe it has to be hardwired in order to take advantage of the g-sensor unlike the Blackvue.
I will link BlackBoxMyCar comparison video later, when I'm off of work lol.
There's a lot of different cameras out there. I chose to go with the mobius action cam. It's not as fancy as some of these others and has no viewing screen, gps, or wifi but video quality is reasonable and it's about as tiny as they get. I chose mainly for the quality and the size. It's practically invisible from both the inside and outside. When plugged into a usb port on a laptop/tablet, it's detected as a camera. Used that to configure and adjust the lens.
This is my Blackvue installed. Managed to route both wires (rear and front cam) through the OEM rearview cabling for a very clean install. Used a power magic pro to hardwire to the fuse box. Hassle free recording.
Once installed no one really notices it. I turn off all leds and voice notification.
If you guys get a chance please post up some pictures of how and where you have the wires all hooked up and what not. I'm going to try to do this mod as a DIY. Seems fairly simple it's just I want an extren8clean look exactly like you have clutch fan. Kinda wish you lived near NJ I'd pay you to help me out lol
