Finally had time to install today, it feels different with the new spring. Did a test drive, felt like the clutch is sticking to the floor due to lower spring tension. Seems like the engagement point is lower than before but shifting is butter smooth now

OK, We finally had some good weather around here and replaced my spring. I have a feeling I'm going to get flamed for this, but I can't really feel much of a difference. Anyone else feel this way, or am I alone?

^^It was, but i've been getting lots of PM's about it lately.

I got an order on the way, should be here towards the end of next week.

For domestic shipments there will be 2 shipping options:

1) First class (1-5 business days), $15 (same as before)
2) Priority Mail (1-2 business days) $20

Canadaian shipments - International first class $20 (typically 3-7 business days).

I'll do my best to get them out within a day of payment.

First post also updated with this information.

Thanks!

So, when you change the spring, do you notice a stiffer feel on the clutch? I do drive in traffic for work, and don't think I would want it to feel any stiffer than it is.

I don't think the additional effort is all that significant. I live/drive in chicago, and don't find it bothersome at all. If you've driven any american manual car with a 8 cyl engine, it's no different. If you're used to driving civics and vw's, then yes, the additional effort will take some getting used to. In a way, the additional effort is what gives it more feedback and lets you know when its starting to grab.

Dave actually installed it for me last Sunday at our season opener meet where I met Jsolo too and picked up the spring. Thanks again, both of you!

But... We are not telling you!

Good luck!
