I think what you meant to say is the clutch won't disengage enough to put it into first. That is, clutch pedal to the floor, but difficulty in getting it into gear. Do you have it adjusted so it grabs very close to the floor? You probably want to readjust so it grabs a bit further away (from the floor).
I don't know why I didn't see the big red letters, for shipping to Canadian buyers, in the first post

You've described my clutch issue it well. It's odd that it only began happening about 9-10 months after I did the 2 clutch mods. I was beginning to wonder if I should attribute it to hot weather. The car is always store in my garage over night though.

Anyway... I'll order one of your springs to help pull the pedal all the way back up without impeding the feel while driving. If that alone doesn't help with my issue then I will make a bit of an adjustment to allow a tiny bit more play in travel.

Thanks

Edit - $20USD sent to you.

Rpm, after thinking about it some, I have a few more questions. When this issue is present, is the difficulty only getting into 1st, or all gears? If only into first, then I don't think it's a clutch issue at all.

When I had my camaro, getting the gear shift to engage reverse was difficult. It would go in, but not quite catch. Didn't matter hot or cold. On that car, reverse was to the right of 5th. The rest of the gear layout was identical. What was suggested was, while stopped, engage 4th, then go directly to reverse. In performing these steps, I never had any further issue catching reverse.

As I understood it, reverse has no syncros (or 1 syncro), thus the difficulty in actually engaging it. Somehow, by going into 4th first, things got lined up properly for reverse.

I installed the spring. Although I can't feel much difference ( I had the OEM spring removed prior to this) it's nice that it hasn't altered the feel of the clutch engagement for me. This, and the fact that this 'light' spring is helping push and hold the clutch all the way back up, is what I was hoping for.

I haven't had my clutch problem for a few days since installing the spring.
I am beginning to think the weather may have an impact.
The clutch was acting up when it was very humid and in the past few dry days it has been perfect. I just don't know.

Thanks.

I installed the spring, and it feels great. Thanks to JSolo for shipping it lightning quick to Northern California!

The install is super easy (you only have to take out the bottom pin since you're replacing the OE spring with a new one).

Glad you got it so quickly. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes shorter. The usps is weird like that.

Payment sent Julian. Thank you sir for the group buy. I upgraded from a P11 G20, and always thought I was just used to a smaller clutch and flywheel. Never would have thought it was the pedal spring.
