Great mod!!

Not only did the spring ship out less than 12hrs after paying, but it is awesome!!! This is my first manual transmission car in about 3 years, I thought that I wasn't used to manual & needed to learn again, little did I know, as soon as I replaced the spring, I was shifting like I used to!!! This is such a great mod!! I was planning on going with the RJM clutch assembly & still may, but at least I can put it off for awhile. Thanks bud!!

So according to the instructions we only have to remove the lower c-clip and pin and then the spring will slide out??

^^It's a little more involved than that. Heed the warnings in the OP about unloading the spring first. If you don't, nasty things can happen.

I've done the mod for a few local buyers. Can swap in the new one in about 1-2 min.

I understand the spring needs to be unloaded..etc. I"ll have someone push in the clutch..

I am assuming the spring will slide off after removing c-clamp and pin?

Just seems extremely easy..

It won't slide directly out. Still requires a slight pull to disengage the pieces. Just make sure you're removing it while the pedal is still to the floor.

After you've done it, you realize it took you 10x longer to read the instructions than to actually do it

@atlg37ss, already in the mail. Thanks.

Sorry one last question. Should the top C-clamp and pin be removed as well?

^^Only if you want a big headache trying to get the pin back in. The instructions in the OP is really all that's needed to do. Nothing more.
