Just bought the G37S INSTEAD of the 335i
Heck Yeah, Bmw cant compare, all that car has is Brute Speed, so unrefined. G37 is sooooo much smoother and quieter, not to mention we have so much more options than the 335. Back up camera, power steering wheel up and down, the nice looking brakes on the sport package, 19 inch wheels, and of course the very sexy body lines on the G37 is just soo hot. Damn Pos Bmw still charge you for Paint on their near $50k car, pathetic.
Now we Talking!!! G37 is in the same price bracket as the 328i. Heck yeah our Gs are a way better value. They should compare the 335 with our Skyline, both have twin turbos right? So what if the Skylines $20k more? Not like the 335 is the same price as the G37s apples for apples..

Nice pick brother, now a quick way to get rid of that ugly gap is to drop your car. Do a quick search on Tein H-Techs, Eibach Springs, or Tanabe NF210 springs. All give you a beautiful mild drop and change the look of your car forever.

And while I have a 335 now, you can't call me a BMW fanboy as I had a G35 before and will probably get a G when my lease is up in Feb.Edit: Sorry, I see it was the OP that commented on iDrive, not you.
To the OP: I agree, that the outside is certainly more conservative than the G. The inside is rather spartan as well. The G is much nicer and although I haven't used it yet, the backup camera sounds like a nice touch. I haven't had a chance to take the G out on any twisty's yet so I can't really comment on its cornering per sé. Nice review though.

No offense and I know these things are very subjective. However, I think your criticisms of the BMW are a bit over the top and I think the BMW compares quite well. It has speed and its handling is great. Its 200lbs lighter which makes its driving a little lighter. I can't really comment on quieter, but some of the earlier BMWs had noisy runflat tires that BMW replaced with quieter ones. I agree that the G is certainly more sexy (Infiniti is spelled Infiniti btw). It has more of a sporty look, while the 335 has a refined sport coupe appearance. Have you used iDrive for any extended period of time? Really once you get used to it, its pretty straight forward, and the improvements they have coming for 2009 look great. And referring to BMW as a POS???
