After months of agonizing over what to get and saving up I finally brought home my new G last week! I got a black obsidian/graphite G37S 6MT with navigation, premium package, lighted kickplates, splash guards, and trunk mat/cargo net. I absolutely love this car!! The exhaust note alone is worth the money to me. Anyway, just thought I'd share. I'm thinking about blacking out the chrome on the front and back and lowering just a tad but that's pretty much it. Welcome to the wonderful world of the best color G37, OB. Now have fun trying to keep that beast clean and swirl free. I've become an obsessive compulsive person with my OB G37, seems like every time I look at mine in direct sunlight I see another surface scratch, LOL!!

If you are to black out only one thing on your new car, some of us would suggest the hideous chrome spoiler. Just a thought.

I got almost the same car as yours but with a black spoiler. Just so I do not have to see that chrome spoiler. It seems out of place. On the other hand, I am leaving my front chrome grill to give it some contrast. Sometimes, i do think about blacking out everything though.

I think I'm the only person who likes the chrome spoiler and possible the only person who didn't buy a G37S w/ premium and navi.

 

^^^I'm all about the chrome rump. I love that thing, so you are not alone in that regard.

You black out the chrome and it becomes a Pontiac G6.
