Windshield washer fluid indicator

For some reason my “low washer fluid” indicator keeps coming on after about 2 minutes of driving. I’ve filled it up to the top with washer fluid (rain x) yet the light on the dash keeps coming on. I’ve chucked it up to a bad washer fluid sensor. The part is not expensive and I would like to change it myself. For the love of me I cannot find a video of a G37 washer fluid sensor being changed. Does anyone have a video or know of a a video showing how to change that sensor?

Found this for the
which is practically identical in method to replace the sensor. It will take more work to get to the damn thing than it will to replace the sensor. Not worth the hassle, IMO. I'd just disconnect the harness connector and drive on, but, your car...

Thanks

Sound like a good idea, just unplug the sensor and zip tie the wire some where. Appreciate it.

And as if by some cosmic / divine intervention, this was posted this afternoon by fellow forum member @sounderview :

Still seems it's more work than it's worth, but...

It's the rainex. I believe it causes a waxy buildup on the sensor. Try running a tank of the regular methanol stuff. That fixed mine in one tank
