Clutch master cylinder

Hi I'm trying to replace the clutch master cylinder in my 08 g37 s I cant get it out !

If it's the same as in the later model years it lifts right up. You can twist it a bit in either direction to loosen up, but it's not screwed on. Just a slight press fit.
