Kinda same issue

Hi
so I’m kinda having the same issue, my turn signals work, blinking noise and everything, Center console, everything work, but when I go for the hazard lights(triangle) they work as long I keep pushing the button, so right now I’m thinking the problem is the button itself.
can someone confirm, cuz I don’t remember since I rarely used the hazards, but does the button makes kinda of a “click” sound when turned on, because mine isn’t and that’s why I’m thinking the issue is the button.

Btw, different subject, but related with lights, so my DTRL aren’t turning on when I release the hand brake like it used too, the bulbs are working, checked by turning the lights on, and at night, auto is working and both come on, but not in dim mode

Yeah, that hazard switch is supposed to physically "catch" in the on position. Press it once, it stays on, press it again it shuts off. Try literally exercising it like 50 times and see if you can get it to catch. Maybe it's just got some dust caught in it or something.

DTRL, not sure. Canadian car? What year? Back in the '05 '06 era DTRL were the high-beam sections of the double-element halogen bulbs running in series, so at 1/2 voltage. Meaning, if either high-beam element of the halogens was burned out you would have no DTRLs. You said you checked your lights but did that include the high-beams?

Yes Canadian 08 G37S 6MT, when auto comes on both high beam and dtrl turn on, but there’s no dim or half power in the dtrl, been looking for info and some say its the relay, others say its the fuse.
regarding the hazards lights, I went to the “secret menu” did self diagnostic, everything green, when to check the CAN, all ok, checked the other one, all ok, but when I went to error history, there’s was a few errors

I deleted all and been checking everyday for the last few days of any error comes back, so far nothing came on.

correction!! One of my bulbs is out, the small one at the bottom ok the driver side, couldn’t notice because my headlight its messed up and needs polishing to clear it

So are we to assume you are good to go, for now?
The "hazard" switch is a momentary (SPST) pushbutton switch. There is no "click" like you would get with a common toggle-type switch.

Most of those codes point to a possible intermittent power/ground issue with the preset switch panel (the clock one) and possibly with your hands-free phone module. As you've already erased the error log, I'd ignore it unless/until you have other symptoms.

I apologize about my misinformation regarding the hazard switch. I thought it was a standard SPDT with latching ON and OFF positions. I'm always learning things in here.
